This thicker shielded container shield lowers the radiation fields from hi-dose radwaste drums. Economical solution for temporary staging of radwaste drums prior to road transportation, this container has a large annular cavity to insert lead shots to ensure the required shielding for high-dose radwaste 55-gallon drums. Shielding thicknesses are customized to waste activity levels.
