Description
The SIM has a fully shielded interface between the Fissile Material Transfer Flask and the road transport cask. The interface module is equipped with a turntable allowing rotation to index a transport cask at three different positions. This feature permits unloading of the three contained Fissile Material Canisters from a single transport cask pay load.
