Description
Arc saw technology is a unique underwater segmentation technology which uses contactless blades and high direct current to create a cutting arc between the blade tip (without touching) and the metallic piece to cut. It is equipped with a high amperage source, an automated control system to regulate current, voltage, blade feed speed and ground clamping force.
The high current triggers the arc to cut through (melt) the base metal as the control system ensures the advance of the blade.
